![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Fukusen Forest (1 sub-board) In the heartland of the Kuro-Kankyo lands that reside in the northern half of the lands lies a lush boreal forest. Coniferous trees such as pines and firs thrive here and the prey is plentiful, as well. The hunting includes pine martens, snowshoe rabbits, mooses and the like. A small stream runs through the forest, leading to the North Coast. In the densest part of these coniferouses lies the pack base, hidden away where no dog can see

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Okan Tundra Near the south border is a large stretch of empty tundra. It is usually covered in a sheet of frost, even in summer. Most of the time, there is not much prey besides the occasional bird or rabbit, but in the spring and the fall caribou thunder across this plain. If hounds get the timing perfect, hunting may not be nessicary for some time

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | The North Coast Just above the forest is where the land meets sea. A stretch of sandy beach lines the coast. A few ice bergs float off shore, some large enough to be a small island. In winter and spring, seals emerge from the depth to bathe in the sun. If caught, they make a fortifying meal. However, the land is slippery and a minute too long in the frigid waters can cause the difference between life and death

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Yuukaze River Along the southern border of the Kuro-Kankyo territory runs a swiftly churning river. In the fall, salmon migrations swell the upstream. But only half of this river belongs to Kuro-Kankyo. It is the dividing point of the two packs and many arguements occur over this. Dogs will sometimes meet here, Kuro on the north bank and Raito on the south, savagely staring across the river as if daring the other to cross

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Irihi Lake (1 sub-board) A cluster of evergreens and decidous trees cover this area, surrounding a small lake. It is the source of a small river and several beaver dams are near. Fish is abuntant in this area but that is not all. Rabbits run free and beavers might make a tough but durable meal. Some abandoned badger holes and beaver dams that have washed ashore make good dens. This is where the pack lives

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Yuukaze South Bank This is the Raito-Kokoro half of the Yuukaze River. Otters and Beavers sometimes appear and muskrats enjoy the moisture but are fast and slippery for hunters. Salmon and trout make enjoyable snacks but are difficult to catch except for the most experienced of hunters. This is the boundary line of the two packs and both make it their duty to spray and mark every tree along the river

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Hitosuboshi Range A mountain range rises in the southeast. Though it is not tall, many have gotten lost in these highlands as they tried and failed to get across. Whether dogs try to go over or through, both are equally dangerous. A cave system runs through the mountains and many say that mystical herbs and waters reside in the gem-filled caverns. There is no prey here unless you count bats

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Hinoiri Floes Off the southwestern coast is a fleet of ice floes. Seals and arctic birds live here but it is dangerous to catch them. Although the waters are slightly warmer here then up north, it is only safe to swim in late summer. The ice floes are slippery to clamber on and even harder to stand upon so beware of falling into the currents below

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Kinoko Forest This small piece of woodland is one of the few pieces of free land. A small creek runs through it, dividing the forest in two. A number of fungi, edible and poisanous grows in here. Prey includes birds and rodents as well as species of deer. This is a popular breeding ground for mooses so come here in the spring

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Hyouden Hyouden is a hidden plain always covered in a thick sheet of snow. Many have travelled here but many have gotten lost. Mystical events seem to take place in this field but none have ever spoken of them. Legends tell of a natural spirit that wanders the plains and where ever it touches, the snow melts. It never remains in a single form, always changing as to not be recognized easily

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Kasumi Lakes (3 sub-boards) South of the Packlands in the free territories lies a series of lakes, ranging from ponds to almost sea-like. Some say that these bodies of water extend out to sea but none is too sure as no dog have ever swam out and returned to tell the tale. A small chain of islands hide in these lakes but finding them is a chore as the mist hangs so thick over the surface of the water that spotting an island is near impossible. But some have managed and reached the archepeligo. The prey is good on some but horrid and desserted on other islands, and some hounds reach the island but never find their way back

![[ ]](http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/866/003bf0.png) | Shaded Path Flanked by dark, omenous trees is a small, worn path. No one knows how it got there but many use it. The paw prints of many are imprinted into the sand, dit, and moss. It is the only prominent way into and out of the pack lands through the Freelands and it's the fastest way to get there. But this path is dangerous as well as convenient for many dark rogues and creatures attack passer-bys. Blood has been spilled many times onto this beatan path but many still risk the danger
